Good afternoon TCMS parents and students: Several TCMS students were exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual in one of their classes on April 16th. The families of all affected students have been contacted via phone personally by our school. The affected students will be quarantining until Tuesday, April 27th per Department of Health and Public Education Department requirements for COVID safe practices. Due to its effects on our staff, all TCMS students will be learning remotely on Monday April 26th. All students and staff may safely return back to school on Tuesday April 27th. Due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in Socorro Independent School District, our Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball game is cancelled tomorrow.
Also cancelled is the golf tournament in Socorro on April 20th and Hot Springs High School’s Boys and Girls Basketball games on April 20th. Sad day for the Tigers and the Warriors.

This is a reminder, the 6th and 7th grade students who have been quarantined this week due to an exposure on March 29th may return to school tomorrow, Thursday, April 8th, as long as they are not having any symptoms of COVID, such as fever, cough, vomiting, headache, shortness of breath, etc. We are eager to see our students back in class, so please send them prepared with a face mask, fully charged laptop, and water bottle, ready to learn.
