TITLE OF JOB: Hot Springs High School Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent
REPORTS TO: Building Administrator/Supervisor
JOB GOAL: To assure the efficient operation of the office so that maximum positive impact on the education of students can be realized
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to type and perform clerical duties
- Have knowledge of computers, software and related technology - keep attendance
- Have good personal relations skills with staff and public
- Good telephone manners/take messages and route calls
- Maintain teacher attendance logs and call substitutes
- Ability to operate office machines
- Count money, receipt, and make deposits
- Order school books and supplies
- Maintain school inventories, student and visitor logs
- Perform clerical duties requested by the principal - be trustworthy- able to keep confidential
- information.
All other duties as requested by the administration.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
