Dear Tiger Community,
Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel (and therefore forfeit) the two remaining Hot Springs High School football games for the 2021-2022 season. While we understand that this is extremely disappointing for our students, families, staff, and community, as leaders of T or C Schools, we believe today’s decision is the right one and is in the best interests of our students and the values of our community.
The T or C Schools places its students’ safety and well-being as its highest priority. The District cannot comment on confidential student or staff matters, but will respond consistent with its policies and in the best interests of the students and community.
Thank you.

Good Evening, Tiger Families.
This is a reminder that there is no school for staff and students during Fall Break Intersession from September 27th-October 15th. The first week of Intersession is an Academic Acceleration Week from September 27th through October 1st for select students and staff only. We have extended personal invitations to students in K-8th grades who are in need of this time to work on building their literacy, numeracy, and SEL skills. Select students in grades 9-12 have been invited to work on credit recovery. We are committed to closing achievement and opportunity gaps to keep all of our Tiger students on track for on-time graduation.
The end of Quarter One is Friday, October 8th. This is the last day to submit assignments that demonstrate your level of power standards mastery in your classes.
Please take these next three weeks to rest, rejuvenate, read a book, exercise, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather, colors, smells, and of course…the Sierra County Fair!
Take care and be well,
Superintendent, Dr. Channell Segura
